The great actor, who died on 10 November at the age of 73, was taken to the last street today, buried in the Bellu cemetery in Bucharest. The funeral service took place in the church of Sfântul Gheorghe Nou, and the late actor’s colleagues and friends took care to console the bereaved family, writes click.ro
The funeral procession began at 12.00, at the Church of San Gheroghe the New, where the actor wanted to be deposed, and was officiated by Father Emil Cărămizaru. All those present observed the protection and removal measures imposed by the pandemic. The death of the actor and the pain of the family caused a lot of emotion and sadness in the eyes of those present at the ceremony. Alexandru Gaitan, son of Vladimir Gaitan, managed to leave England to lead his father on the last road. He did not detach himself from his mother, Tunde Găitan, whom he tried to comfort.

On Saturday, at 9.10pm, TVR 1 scheduled the film “Reconstitution”, directed by Lucian Pintilie, starring: Vladimir Gaitan, George Constantin and George Mihaita in the lead roles.
