A nice gift, don't you think?
A nice gift, don’t you think?

So far it has been left alone to the press to test Sony’s PlayStation 5 before the official launch. Two days before the official start of sales, which in some countries like Japan and the United States takes place on November 12th, a loyal Sony customer was rewarded early for his infinite patience.

We’re talking about Joey Chiu, who was the first real customer in the queue when PlayStation 4 (2013) and PlayStation 4 Pro (2016) launched. At the 2013 launch event in New York, Sony President Andrew House and US Chief Jack Tretton even honored the young man with a “First Console” award on stage. For Sony this is reason enough to reward Chiu’s loyalty and patience with a brand new PlayStation 5.

Talking is silver, queuing is gold

As Polygon reports, Chiu received a PlayStation 5 out of thin air, with a note attached. She congratulated him on his new PS5 with the words “Patience is a virtue”, which translated means that patience is a virtue. Chiu promptly tweeted overjoyed at the gift he had received in advance.
