The bear market has certainly created a ripple in cryptoverse with several luminaries and analysts predicting the final destination of the market. Most of the cryptocurrencies at the top struggled to remain at the top with cuts in market capitalization and price crises. Despite the rampant bear attack, Ripple executives have been on a mission to inform users about developments and updates.
Speaking at the recently concluded 2018 Impact Fintech conference, Ross D & # 39; Arcy, director of sales at Europa Ripple, spoke about the mission and vision of Ripple and what the company led by Brad Garlinghouse intends to do in future. D & # 39; Arcy said that Ripple aims for unique cases of use and daily problems with the use of distributed registry technology and cryptocurrencies. He added that Ripple's business model is primarily focused on collaboration and this is the segment in which banks fall. In his words:
"Ripple's mission is very simple, it helps to reduce the friction between cross-border payments, we want to make the exchange of value as simple as the exchange of goods. This is very evident from the fact that expectations are changing due to the change perspective caused by the Internet. "
According to him, corporate customers can not provide the ease of transactions that blockchain technology can provide. Arcy said that Ripple wants to help established banks get that facility that will increase transaction speed in seconds. The Ripple official also touched on the differences between Ripple and all Ripple products, e.g. XRP, xRapid, xVia and xCurrent. He said:
"Ripple creates utilities for XRP while Ripple applies blockchain technology to improve the concept of cross-border payments, we focus on laser building on liquidity and on the care of the final beneficiary and that's where xVia and xRapid come into play".
Ross D & # 39; Arcy went on to say that Ripple is collaborating with many of the major banks worldwide, sometimes at the rate of over one a week. Some banks that are part of the Ripple roster include Banco Santander, active in Poland with more partnerships with banks in Brazil, the Middle East, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The sales manager clarified saying:
"The future of the movement of funds is from west to east and this is the reason why emerging markets are a strength"
