After 20 years from the premiere of the telenovela ‘Pedro, el flamoso’ and from its recent broadcast on the Caracol channel, it was known that actresses Andrea Guzmán and Marcela Mar, who played Yadira Pacheco and Mayerli Pacheco respectively, didn’t get along very well off-screen.

Unfortunately, the successful actresses who were stealing Colombians’ hearts at the time – and doing it again – had something in common that made them not stand each other, a man. Andrea Guzmán reminded Vea Magazine that she was having an affair with fellow actor Gregorio Pernía, who was her best friend.

However, the famous’s courtship ended when Pernía fixed his eyes on Marcela Mar and decided to have an affair with her. The love story of Marcela Mar and Gregorio Pernía, as they told the media at the time, was love at first sight, which is why they quickly moved in together and had their child, but the relationship lasted six years .

That love triangle, in which Andrea ended up not wanting to see Gregorio or Marcela, happened long before he started recording “Pedro, el flamoso”. But the paths of the actresses would meet once again, when they both discovered that they would not only star in the same production, but that they had to be sisters. At that time, they both had to prove their professionalism and put their differences aside.

“I couldn’t see Marcela”, actress Andrea Guzmán commented to the magazine. However, Guzmán assured that it hasn’t been that difficult to remove the problems he has had with his colleague ever since. As time went by on the tapes, she discovered that her prejudices about Marcela Mar were wrong and that, in fact, her colleague was a “charming” woman.

The actress assured that the conflict for Pernía was a matter of ego, as they were all very young and he “literally left me for her”. The problem was solved and what prevailed for both actresses were the excellent women discovered during the recording of the soap opera that currently occupies the top places in the Colombian charts, after the production of the same channel ‘Pasión de Gavilanes’.

While filming “Pedro, el flamoso”, Andrea got out of a toxic relationship with another actor, which is why he asked for a week’s vacation. “I was on my twentieth attempt to leave that horrible, stormy and unstable relationship”The actress said she was battling thyroid cancer at the same time.

Guzmán went to Punta Cana, encouraged by her mother and there, by chance, she found what would have been the love of her life.
