Anyone who has played “Demon’s Souls” on PS3 before will notice that many opponents behave exactly like in the original. Despite revised animations and a frame rate of 60 FPS in performance mode, the times have not changed. The same code was used for the core elements of the gameplay. The more modern engine should provide a thrilling combat experience.

The features of the PS5 could be fully exploited

Plus, thousands of new sound effects have been added to enjoy PS5’s innovative 3D sound. In addition, the developers managed to win many original speakers for audio recordings. The development team was also impressed with the tactile feedback of the DualSense controller. The goal here was to make the fights tougher and darker. For example, you will be able to hear swords colliding or a fireball crackling in your hands.

Every single class should be completely different in combat. The knight can endure a lot thanks to his armor, but is rather slow when evading. The thief, on the other hand, is characterized by his speed, but lands less fatal blows.

At the end you can admire another boss fight. This time Moore takes on the so-called Dirty Colossus.
