Meeting Diego Maradona in person was the dream of all football lovers and the famous and controversial Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, made it happen. But what it had everything to be an unforgettable moment turned out … but in another way, as Liam recalled in 2017 in an interview with Noisey.

“We were in Argentina and we had a concert. When we realized we were in a bar drinking and then 30 people walked in, as if they were Anthill Mob [dos desenhos animados ‘Corridas Loucas’]. We went running to him and a lot of things were happening, with Maradona there in the middle touching himself with a bottle cap. His eyes were as big as everything … and ours weren’t very different but I thought it was all very strange and I said we wanted to take a quick picture with him and we were going but he was gone. He was sweating from tomatoes and our translator told us: “Maradona said if you go out with one of these whores, he’ll shoot you!” And ready … “, said Maradona died Wednesday, at 60.
