Cryptocurrency is a volatile industry, and coins that move into the market position may not be worth mentioning – with the altcoins constantly climbing the ranks. In the first three coins, however, it is worth mentioning when there is a turn.
Ethereum has overtaken Ripple, which has occupied second place since September last year. Now, the ranks are sitting as Bitcoin as the highest cryptocurrency, Ethereum as the highest altcoin, and Ripple returns to third place in the market ranks.
At present, the markets are green for the second consecutive day, which is a positive start for the new year. Bitcoin, Ehereum and Ripple are all recording modest increases. Bitcoin Cash, which yesterday showed decreasing trading volumes, is also in the green, which means that the first eight coins – at the time of writing – are all in the green.
The total market capitalization is also showing a positive gradient and at the time of writing rose from $ 125 billion USD on January 1, 2019 to $ 133 billion USD.
Even if you should be cautious, there is optimism in the positive inclines. Markets are showing signs of a full increase, but at least a moderate increase is a good start to recover from the crash the markets faced at the end of last year.
