New versions for AirPods, which are among Apple’s most popular devices, are eagerly awaited. The countdown begins for the new AirPods and AirPods Pro. Wireless headphones models are expected to meet users in 2021.
New AirPods and AirPods Pro on the way
Headphone models will join other new Apple audio devices such as HomePod mini and upcoming on-ear headphones. The company is also rumored to be working on a new smart speaker that will join the HomePod mini.
On the subject covered by Bloomberg, the third generation AirPods and second generation AirPods Pro models will officially arrive in 2021, as previously mentioned. The new headphones, which are expected to arrive in early 2021, aren’t expected to come with major changes, but they will offer better battery life than before.
The new AirPods shouldn’t offer ANC, which is active noise cancellation, on the other hand, AirPods Pro should have this feature. There is expected to be a performance boost for the headphones which shouldn’t look very different from previous generations by design.
