Tron and Ripple communities increase support for the adoption of respective tokens through social media
When it comes to having supportive and active communities, Tron and Ripple are at the top of their game. However, to push things a bit more than usual, they decided to push their power to a new level. The followers of these communities pushed for adoption and set up protocols that will allow anyone to send and receive TRX and XRP tokens to a new place – social media.
Tron's platform, Seedit, makes it possible to use Twitter to send TRX, even if the only outlet is that they must have a Twitter handle. Currently, Seedit is also compatible with Telegram. The community immediately embarked, creating a campaign that they call #OperationTronStorm. Since then, the grassroots campaign has been sent to more celebrities and other figures in the world, such as the Pope, Ellen DeGeneres and Kanye West. As a result of the loyal group, there were about 18.5 million TRXs processed through Seedit.
The XRP Bot helps users send XRP to each other and is compatible with Twitter, Reddit and Discord. However, the main difference is that you can not send more than 5 XRPs at a time. Even so, since it was launched at the end of January, a total of 67,343 XRPs have been sent.
