The Chinese manufacturer registers a mobile phone with eight rear cameras; look at the look

Cell phones with four rear cameras are common today, but the trend is that this number will increase in the coming years. This Monday (9), the Dutch website staff LetsGoDigital found a patent from the Chinese manufacturer Lens Technology in the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) database, which describes a smartphone with no fewer than eight rear sensors.

According to the patent-based rendering, the device has a back cover with two cameras and an LED flash located in each corner, for a total of eight sensors and four flashes. Unfortunately, there is still no information on how the organized photographic set would be used to enhance the photos, or if the design has only a decorative appeal.

Either way, the front of the device shows a more traditional look of a smartphone today, with the display taking advantage of the entire region. On the sides, we still see a single button, probably to turn the phone off and on.

Lens Technology is a company that specializes in supplying camera modules, photographic lenses and parts for the production chain to other companies, such as Huawei, Apple and Samsung. That is, it is possible that in the future we will see smartphones with more cameras. As this is a patent, however, there is no guarantee.
