One of the contributors to the Cashshuffle development team, Josh Ellithorpe, revealed on January 14 that the BCH-centered privacy blending protocol is almost complete. The developers are planning to perform a security check on the code and have launched a fundraiser on the Bitbacker.io platform to help secure the financing of the audit.

Cashshuffle is a client-server mixing application that allows servers to coordinate with users in order to mix the bitcoin cash (BCH) UTXOs. After the coins are shuffled, it is difficult for the ordering forces and the blockchain surveillance entities to monitor the movements of the coins. News.Bitcoin.com reported on the project roadmap on several occasions, and the project is nearing completion according to Cashshuffle contributor Josh Ellithorpe. A few hours ago, Ellithorpe launched a Bitbacker.io fundraiser to help collect BCH for security screening. So far there are a large number of people who have donated $ 5-10 BCH increments in the last 24 hours.
"Preparing for Kudelski Security's Cashshuffle Security Audit – I'm looking forward to finally releasing a privacy solution for BCH," reads Ellithorpe's fundraising post.
The Cashshuffle concept it was announced for the first time in 2017 and since then has seen a steady development. Initially, there was the launch of the pre-release version and the people who experimented with the plug-in for the BCH Electron Cash portfolio. "Privacy and fungibility go hand in hand and are critical to cryptocurrency: free people living in a free society should have the right to privacy without fearing that the state writes in their personal finances," the developer of Electron Cash Jonald Fyookball he said news.Bitcoin.com at the time. Once the funds are raised, Ellithorpe believes that Kudelski's audit can last from three weeks to a month.
Cashshuffle and protocols like this will increase privacy
After the audit and further polishing of the code, the Cashshuffle protocol will probably become a default installation on the Electron Cash wallet, in contrast to the plug-in available today, and could see the light of day also on the mobile versions of the lightweight client. The Cashshuffle team has been ahead of progress and development of the project since the protocol plug-in was launched. Last summer Ellithorpe and Fyookball detailed the Coinshuffle tests were going very well and they did not see the time to release it to the public.
At the moment the developers were working on solving a critical problem with the cryptocurrency platforms focused on cryptocurrency and the mix of platforms – liquidity. Cashshuffle engineers have designed an automatic proof-of-concept liquidity robot that can provide shuffles if insufficient participants are online. The team also discussed the development of a kind of incentive program similar to the joining market protocol. Moreover, since the shuffle platform is open source, the Cashshuffle protocol can be implemented in other BCH light clients like the Bitcoin.com wallet. Many members of the Bitcoin Cash community were excited to learn about the concept of fungibility that came close to the end. Some BCH supporters have also commented on Ellithorpe's Bitbacker page.
"Love the features of fungibility and building onchain – Thank you guys, keep it up!", Wrote anonymously, while donating $ 5 in BCH to fundraising for security verification.
