Bloober Team, the studio behind acclaimed horror titles such as Blair Witch, Observer: System Redux and Layers of Fear, has released a brand new trailer for the dual reality game The Medium that introduces a new character and takes players through the corridors of Hotel Niwa. .
The character’s face, whose name will be revealed over time, is based on Marcin Dorociński, a Polish actor fans will know from the popular Netflix series The Queen’s Gambit. Capable of ruthlessness and brutality, this mysterious figure has its own vengeful agenda. As players learn more about her story, they will see how it relates to Marianne’s investigation.
Fans will also learn more about the spirit world, a dark reflection of the real world that symbolizes the rawest emotions like fear and anger. And they will find that the Maw is not the only hostile spirit lurking there.
