THE BALL – Tiago Pinto’s two priorities at the start of the adventure in Rome (Italy)

Hired for the new sporting director of Roma, Tiago Pinto already has two priorities until the market reopens. According to Calciomercato, the Portuguese leader is in charge of taking care of the renovations of Antonio Mirante and Lorenzo Pellegrini.

The 37-year-old Italian goalkeeper ends his contract in June 2021 and is seen as a key player by Paulo Fonseca. The Portuguese coach even handed him the title of the Roman goal, ahead of Pau López.

Lorenzo Pellegrini has a different problem. The 24-year-old midfielder has a 30 million euro clause in his contract and the goal is to eliminate that paragraph, or increase it, to prevent the Italian international from leaving for a negligible amount in the current market.
