British actor Dave Prowse, who played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy, died Saturday at the age of 85.its rep, Thomas Bowington, said Sunday.

Prowse represented England in weightlifting at the Commonwealth Games in the early 1960s before starting his acting career.
