Just a few minutes ago, the Xbox Generation staff were simply surprised by the news that we didn’t expect at all. After launching on PS4 almost disguised as an emulated game and on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One also receives Star Wars Episode 1 Racer, the mythical pod racing game based on the scene of the same name from the first episode of the Star Wars Saga.
With this tweet, Aspyr Media announced a few minutes ago that Star Wars Episode 1 Racer is now available for purchase and download in the Microsoft Store for our Xbox One. For only € 14.99 you can get it from this link.

Star Wars Episode 1 Racer, a forgotten arcade wonder
The truth is that within what could have been a game based on the first episode of Star Wars, this spin-off was totally to the liking of all who tried it, as well as being an important graphic exponent for the time. Sure, we warn you, there are no noticeable graphical improvements beyond higher resolution or better textures, but the polygon load is the same, however the fun is also the same and what is more important, there hasn’t been a game the same since.
