“Super Animal Royale” can be played for free on PC. Modus Games is partnering with Pixile Studios for this.
Independent publisher Modus Games has announced a partnership with Pixile Studios and the release of “Super Animal Royale”. The title is as cute as it is brutal: in a safari park, all kinds of animals have a showdown down to the last animal. So far, over 500,000 players have enjoyed the shooter in Steam Early Access.
“Super Animal Royale” is now turning into a free-to-play model. The title is still available on Steam in Early Access, but now all players can earn cosmetics, participate in events and experience the new 32v32 “SAW (Super Animal World) vs. Rebellion” mode at no additional cost.
“We are thrilled to partner with Pixile,” said Sean Bierwith, EVP Global Marketing for Modus Games. “Super Animal Royale is a crazy and fun game that cleverly solves the accessibility problem of Battle Royale games. The transition to the free-to-play model is just the first of many exciting announcements.”
“The collaboration with Modus raises our expectations for the future of our game even higher,” said Michael Silverwood, co-founder of Pixile Studios. “We look forward to the fact that more new players can now join the large community that has grown around the game!”
Game description: “Super Animal Royale is a battle royale game – with an animal rotation. Players put together their personal favorite animal from over 300 races and 600 items and jump from a giant eagle into battle. Or from the shoulders of cute emus or by them Rolling hamster balls are fought on the ground with rifles, sparrows, grenades and bananas in 64 player skirmishes (get it, Darwin!) Explosive top-down action fits perfectly with concise style of flat design and the innovative fog-of-war system allows players to keep their play style as deep and strategic, but also as fun and accessible as they wish.
