The 2020 Strictly Come Dancing series is currently well underway, and as numerous celebrity contestants are earning their well-deserved 10, there couldn’t be a better time to revisit the iconic routines of the past.
With 16 years of the show’s back catalog to complete, we invite all Strictly fans to vote for your all-time favorite dance.
Whether there is a Paso Doble in particular that has piqued your interest, a tango you are still talking about or a wonderful Viennese waltz that still runs through your head, be sure to check out our list of rigorous, hand-picked dances from the public, and choose your favorite from all years.
Maybe you were fascinated by the late Caroline Flack’s magnificent Showdance at Robbie Williams’ Angels or maybe it was 2016 finalist Danny Mac’s sizzling Samba to Magalenha that did it for you – narrowly saw so many legendary performances in the last 18 series that it would have been criminal to forget them.
Of course, there’s 2015 winner Jay McGuiness – who was recently voted the greatest Strictly champion of all time – and his Pulp Fiction Movie Week Jive to Misirlou that comes to many fans’ minds, while the winner 2017’s Joe McFadden’s Argentine Tango to Rag ‘n’Bone Man’s Human wowed viewers of the time with his impressive creative development.
Going back in time to Strictly’s first series, there’s Jill Halfpenny’s energetic Jive in Elton John’s I’m Still Standing to keep in mind, as well as 2007 winner Alesha Dixon’s Cha Cha Cha to Crazy in Love .
