The 1st of the 2 female Super-Gs will be held on Saturday in St. Moritz. Almost nothing stands in the way of a Corinne Suter premiere.

However, Corinne Suter is very excited that one of her favorite disciplines starts this weekend: “I can’t wait. During the training, everything went as I had imagined. I feel good and I want to pick up where I left off, ”says Schwyzerin.

Does time interfere?
Chances are good that Suter will step on the podium for the first time this year in St. Moritz. The self-confidence of the 26-year-old is great after the great successes of the last two seasons, the doubts about themselves are gone. “If I can make a reasonably good trip, I’ll be in the lead,” Suter says.
The biggest concern of Suter and all the other athletes is currently bad weather in St. Moritz. Heavy snowfall in the Engadine made it difficult for days to prepare the slopes. On Friday Martin Berthod was optimistic: “We were told that on Saturday morning the fresh snow would be limited and that we could have a window of time to hold the race,” said the chairman of the competition organizing committee in St. Moritz.
