Netflix series buffering, slow download speeds and blind spots in the apartment that simply don’t have WiFi reception? If these problems ruin your Internet browsing enjoyment, it’s time for a new router. And we already know which one, because Stiftung Warentest published a test report and chose its winner.

According to Stiftung Warentest: This is the best WiFi router

In the Stiftung Warentest test, AVM’s Fritzbox 7590 * performed at its best. A total of seven DSLs and a cable router between € 117.00 and € 248.00 from manufacturers such as AVM, Asus, Telekom and TP-Link were tested. With an overall rating of 1.5, the Fritzbox 7590 was able to clearly outweigh the competition.

Because the AVM Fritzbox 7590 was chosen as the test winner

The WLAN router is a true all-rounder that has received the maximum score of “very good” in various categories (including: data transmission, security functions, telephony, management or versatility). Only with regard to energy consumption was only 2.3 rated. However, it was enough for first place in the test.

The wireless router with the best value for money

AVM FRITZ! Box 7530 WLAN AC + N Router – 115.00 euros on Amazon *

Is the AVM Fritzbox 7590 still too expensive for you? Then we recommend the Fritzbox 7530 *. Because this also costs only 115.00 euros on Amazon instead of the usual 149.00 euros. And you don’t have to cut corners when browsing and downloading, because in the Stiftung Warentest test, it narrowly missed the gold medal with an overall rating of 1.6. What can the winner do better? It has higher maximum transfer rates, so it’s faster. In smaller families, however, this shouldn’t be noticed at all.
