Star Wars: Squadrons: Free Update: New map and two new fighters on the way

[ad_1]

As a small thank you to the community, EA and Motive have now announced two updates with new content for Star Wars: Squadrons.

Star Wars: Squadrons players can look forward to two new free content that sees Electronic Arts, Motive, and Lucasfilm as a thank you. The first patch will be available next week from November 25th and will bring a whole new location to the game: Fostar Haven.

This map will be available in both Fleet Battles and Space Battles. Additionally, this update includes several new ship components, including a Boost Extension Set, missiles, armor-piercing torpedo prototypes, and an anti-missile cannon.

A second free update is scheduled for December and will include two new iconic starfighters:

  • New Republic pilots can then fly the BA / SF-01 wing.
  • On the side of the Empire, the universal TIE / d star fighter “Defender” joins the Imperial Navy.

In addition to these new Star Fighters, Motive introduces Space Battles and Fleet Battles, as well as custom matches on all seven maps. These custom games are designed to allow more players to participate in community organized tournaments that have grown in popularity since the game was launched.
