The confusion surrounding the use of PS4 saves for the PS5 remaster is now over. Insominiac Games is finally speaking clearly and the news is good.
In fact, it was rumored that it would not be possible to transfer the saved games from the PS4 title Spider-Man to the PS5 remaster. Fans didn’t like it at all and Insomniac felt compelled to take action. In a tweet, the developer has now confirmed that after an upcoming update it will be possible to export saved games for PS4 and use them in Spider-Man Remastered on PS5.
We heard you – in an upcoming update for # SpiderManPS4, we’ll add the ability to export your save to Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. This update will also add the three new Remastered suits to the PS4 game. We expect to bring this update to you around Thanksgiving. pic.twitter.com/EqoKnto3FV

As a small treat, PS4 players of the original also receive the three new Spider-Man costumes destined for the next generation version.
Spider-Man Remastered on PS5 has improved graphics and uses PS5’s fast SSD with optimized load times. The game also supports adaptive triggers and DualSense controller haptic feedback.
