Atletico Madrid achieved a spectacular 3-2 win against FC Salzburg. The “Colchoneros” took the lead after 29 minutes with Llorente and held their own. But the cheeky Salzburgers weren’t afraid of the Spaniards. Just before and right after half-time, coach Jesse Marsch’s team struck.

Dominik Szoboszlai (40th) and Mergim Berisha (47th) were successful for the Austrians, blowing up the US coach on the sidelines. But Atletico remained calm and quickly equalized. Joao Felix was the scorer in the 52nd minute. Shortly before the end, Real Madrid even claimed victory. Once again it was Felix who put the ball into the Salzburg Gate (85th).

Next week, Bayern will face Salzburg, while Atletico will face Lok Moscow.
