Netflix has started testing a new tiktok-inspired feature, which offers a preview platform content via short comic clips.
“Quick laughs” (“quick laughs”) is a new “feed” to preview content, which can be accessed short videos in vertical format, so that users have a new way to discover content. If they like it, they can Add it to your content list to watch later.
These clips, from between 15 and 45 seconds, do not support comments, but users can react by using the laughing face emoji and share them through social networks. To view the new clips, the user has to switch vertically from one to the other.
This new “feed” is part of a test that Netflix has launched for a limited number of users in certain markets, such as United States and United Kingdomand in the iOS app, the company confirmed to TechCrunch.
