Researchers found that aronia, pomegranate juice and green tea have good antiviral properties. So, for example, after five minutes of treatment with aronia juice, the activity of the coronavirus decreases by 96% and that of the flu by 99%. When exposed to tea and pomegranate juice, coronavirus activity decreased by 80%.

As scientists note, respiratory viruses initially accumulate in the nasopharynx region, where they subsequently escalate and spread throughout the body, but if they are suppressed early on, this can relieve the symptoms of these diseases, prevent spread through the respiratory tract and also reduce the possibility of transmission of the disease from person to person.
