Researchers found that face masks made from hybrid polymer materials filter out particles with high efficiency and cool the face at the same time. Since the fibers used in these special masks are transparent to infrared rays, they allow heat to escape from under the mask.

“There may be a correlation between breathing resistance and the flow resistance of the mask. This connection needs to be examined in terms of usage time.
