Schenker XMG Neo – New gaming laptops with 165Hz WQHD IPS display

If you want to enjoy a high frame rate during mobile gaming, you should check out the new versions of Schenker XMG Neo 15 and Neo 17. There, buyers can now opt for a display variant with WQHD resolution and 165 Hz – at least in the case of the Neo 15. For the larger model, the availability of the new display option is currently listed as “Coming Soon”.

Keep your eyes peeled during setup

For a base price of around € 1,832 for the Neo 15 or just under € 1,754 for the Neo 17 (no, that’s not a mistake), buyers can get the basic version with the 240Hz full HD panel. WQHD counterpart at 165 Hz, you have to be careful with the online configurator to really choose the new variant, at least at no additional cost.

The Intel Core i7-10875H is installed as a CPU, the graphics part is detected by a Geforce RTX 2070 Max-P. 8 GiB of DDR4-2666 RAM and a 250GB Samsung SSD 860 EVO in M.2 form factor complete the package. As usual with gaming notebooks, the price can be increased by more powerful components.

There is already a first review on the Jarrod’s Tech Youtube channel that addresses the question of whether the agile display makes a noticeable difference in games. Anyone who is playing with the purchase could benefit from the discount campaign currently being launched as part of Black Friday, which can save up to 250 euros on some models, including the Neo 15 with the new WQHD display.
