Today, Monday, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced that Corona vaccines will be provided free of charge to everyone in the Kingdom.
According to Saudi TV, the ministry said it hopes coronavirus vaccines will cover 70% of the Kingdom’s population by the end of 2021.
Today, the Ministry announced the registration of 231 new cases of emerging coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections to 355,489 cases.
The Deputy Minister of Health and the Ministry’s spokesman, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, confirmed that any vaccine must be safe, effective and approved by the authorities concerned.
He pointed out that the number of people healed in the Kingdom, thank God, reached (343816) cases, adding (445) new cases of healing, while the number of deaths reached (5796) cases, adding (16) new deaths.
The total number of tests in the Kingdom reached (9295599) accurate lab tests, adding (40395) new lab tests in the last 24 hours.
Dr Al-Abd al-Aali said this week saw a decrease in critical cases in the Kingdom of 6.3%, noting that monitoring of cases around the world is still ongoing, and the total number of confirmed cases exceeds 58 million cases, while recovery cases exceed 37 million cases and total deaths exceed 1 million E 390 cases, as the world is witnessing in some countries the second wave of the virus and the increase in the registration of cases, which in some regions are worrying, but the situation, praise be to God, in the Kingdom is considered stable and reassuring.
