Bixby is Samsung’s assistant, present in the phones that the brand launches in Spain. This assistant has lost some features in the past few months, such as its augmented reality. Although Samsung continues to improve its assistant, as they have done now in its new update, where a design for this assistant is released.

In this update, Samsung looks for it Bixby will show itself more naturally on phones. For this reason, they are betting on a new design, which may in part resemble Google Assistant. This new design is made available for the brand’s devices in the Galaxy Store.

This is the new Bixby design

Bixby new design

Samsung leaves us with a revamped design in its assistant, with a new settings and advice screen, with the most used phrases or capsules. You can see a cleaner design in it, with a look that fits the One UI aesthetic better. In addition, the Quick Commands section as well as the configuration menus have a new look.

The most notable change is when Bixby is launched on the phone, from its app or with the corresponding voice command. This new design does not interrupt the activity that is done on the phone, since it does not take up the entire screen, but it remains only in the lower part, allowing a more comfortable use of the assistant.

New Bixby interface

This new design is partly reminiscent of the Google Assistant, occupying the fund and integrating better into the phone, but Samsung has managed to keep the elements of One UI. When speaking, to see if Bixby is listening, a moving line appears at the bottom of the screen. In addition to voice commands, we can write on the screen what we want to ask or ask the assistant.

Bixby executes the commands

This new version of Bixby, with this new design, has already been launched in the Samsung Galaxy Store. You will just have to enter it to update the assistant on your phone and enjoy this design, which allows for better use of the assistant on your phone.
