Galaxy S21 will already bring the new Snapdragon 888 processor

Qualcomm unveiled its new Snapdragon 888 processor on Tuesday, December 1. Interestingly, however, the list of equipment that will implement this new chip was missing a powerful name: Samsung.

But a recent Geekbench test shows that one of the models in this range, which is supposed to be the Galaxy S21 5G, will carry the new Snapdragon 888 processor with it. The test was released on December 3, which is two days after the new chip was launched.

According to information, the SM G-991U model, which has been tested, will be a version of an initial prototype, which already carries the Android 11 operating system and 8 GB of RAM.

This device, however, achieves a slightly higher score than the Galaxy S20 with Snapdragon 865. But these values will certainly increase as the equipment undergoes adjustments and improvements in terms of consonance between hardware and software.

It is estimated that Samsung will be able to present this new range as early as January 2021. But by then surely a lot of information, details and pictures about the Galaxy S21 will be released.
