News related to the Samsung Galaxy S21 continues to arrive online in large numbers and even earlier we found that the launch of the series could take place in February 2021 and not in January or late 2020 as it was circulating at some point. Until we find out when the debut will take place, let’s take a look at some CAD renderings associated with the flagship model called Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
These CAD images refer to the sketches / schematics used in the factories by Samsung and the most interesting detail we notice here is the size of the edges around the screen. Both the side edges and the lower chin are surprisingly narrow – a sign that the screen body ratio will also increase. Currently the Samsung smartphone with the highest body-to-screen ratio is the Note 20 Ultra with 91.7%.
The S20 Ultra achieves 89.9% screen-to-body ratio, and cheaper variants of the series like the S20 FE stop at 84.8%. The new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra model could also break the record set by the Note 20 Ultra in this respect. The phone is presented to us from multiple angles and in addition to this detail we also notice the slightly curved side edges, the USB-C port at the base and the speaker grille.
In the list of features we have a 120Hz screen with QHD + resolution, 5000 mAh battery and a generous 108mp ISOCELL main sensor rear camera.
