In the past few days, Samsung has released firmware updates that require multiple users to report issues. The updates, apparently, are related to wireless charging of smartphones on the Galaxy S20 and Note20 lines.
Has your smartphone been updated and encountered the same problem?
After the software updates released by Samsung, several users have started reporting smartphone wireless charging issues on the Galaxy S20 and Note20 lines.
Samsung smartphone with charging problems
Reports have been shared in various Internet forums and are on the rise. However, it does not appear to be a widespread problem. Apparently, it's only happening with some models that charge with third-party chargers.
Constant interruptions are then detected every few seconds. Users report using the same chargers they used prior to the associated no-problem updates.
It is unclear which update could cause such a wireless charging problem for the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 lines, especially the Ultra models. The issues could be associated with security patches released in September or October 2020.
There is a solution?
Apparently, Samsung has not yet released any updates that fix the problem. Furthermore, users report that they have already tried to factory reset, restart the smartphone or even clear the caches and nothing has been fixed.
Considering that the wireless charging feature is not yet widely used by smartphone users, multiple models may experience the same problem. However, it was not detected.
Do you have a Samsung Galaxy S20 or Note20 with a similar wireless charging problem?
