Samsung Galaxy A70 starts receiving One UI 2.5 in Europe

It is reported by Sammobile that the Galaxy A70 is receiving the update to One UI 2.5, based on Android 10, in Europe. However it appears that this update has only arrived in Ukraine for now. That said, Samsung may still test the upgrade, before expanding shipping to all regions where the equipment exists.

This update has the firmware version A0705FNXXU5CTK4 and weighs 1421 MB. As mentioned above, this update includes the latest security patch (November 1, 2020), along with several improvements, such as keyboard, Wi-Fi, and more. Furthermore Sammobile writes that the update for the Galaxy A70 was only received on the Kyivstar network.

This new update also adds landscape split keyboard and YouTube search to Samsung keyboard. Users can now use the stickers Bitmoji, always on display. In messages users get SOS Messages mode, sharing location from 30 minutes to 24 hours.

As for the new Wi-Fi features, users now have the ability to see the quality of the network in their wi-fi connections, and features related to the security of the wi-fi password. Samsung has updated its mid-range Galaxy A and also its entry-level Galaxy M equipment, with the extension A user interface 2.5 is One UI Core 2.5, respectively.

The first A-line device to receive this update was the Galaxy A71, followed by Galaxy A51. As for the Galaxy M line, the Galaxy M21, was the first to receive the One UI Core 2.5, before Galaxy M31.
