A young friend joins us. The affordable entry segment Samsung Galaxy A12 has some features.
In late August, a report revealed that Samsung is working on the budget Galaxy A12 smartphone with model number SM-A125F. This phone is said to be available in 32GB and 64GB storage variants. Now, two and a half months later, this device is seen on Geekbench revealing its chipset, RAM and software.
Samsung registered the Galaxy A12 trademark along with other Ax2 names in late 2019 prior to the launch of the Galaxy Ax1 generation devices. Now, almost a year later, this device is finally about to be released.
Previously, the phone visited the Geekbench benchmarking platform and revealed some of its features. According to the listing (via 91Mobiles), the upcoming Galaxy A12 will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset equipped with 3GB of RAM. Its Galaxy A11 predecessor featured Qualcomm Snapdragon 450.
As for the software, it will run Android 10 even though Android 11 is already out. Although it is a budget smartphone, it can be upgraded to a higher version. After starting the update, it should get the latest version of Android.
Aside from the parameters mentioned above, there isn’t much information on the upcoming Galaxy A12, except that it will come in black, white, red and blue with microSD card support.
