SaGa Frontier Remastered has been announced and is an enhanced version of Square’s JRPG PS1 from 1998. The game, originally released in the US in 1998, will be remastered for Switch, PS4, mobile and PC, with some of the cut content restored for it. remake.

SaGa Frontier introduced players to seven potential protagonists and allowed them to explore the game world in a non-linear way. For the Remaster, there are now eight characters: Fuse, who appeared on the main screen but was not available in the game, has been restored. Each character has their own goals and endings, so you could play eight times and have a different experience with each character.

In addition to Fuse, there are also other scenes and sections removed from the original version that are restored. This is supposed to be the latest version of SaGa Frontier.

The game, set in an entire solar system, was considered confusing by many critics at the time, but was well received in Japan and has a cult following. You can check out the remastered version in the trailer below.

The game will launch in the summer of 2021.

Square Enix has remastered and released a few different SaGa games over the past couple of years – in 2019, Romancing SaGa 3 and SaGa: Scarlet Grace made their way to modern systems.
