Interestingly, the World Health Organization announced that it has received an application to register the “Sputnik V” vaccine against the Corona virus, which was developed by the Russian National Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, “Gamalaya”.
“Sputnik V”, approved by the Russian Ministry of Health last August, became the first vaccine in the world with an efficacy of 92 percent.
In Russia, vaccination of medical personnel with it was recently launched and a mass vaccination campaign will begin within two weeks nationwide, according to preliminary information.
