Prince Harry wants to stop “The Crown” prematurely: conflict with Netflix is imminent
After the release of its fourth season, the Netflix series “The Crown” is more controversial than ever. Under current plans, two more seasons of the timeline will be produced. Eventually, the story may even make its way into the present and be devoted to the lives of adult princes Harry and William.
Royal biographer Angela Levin then sees a huge conflict approaching. In “talkRADIO” and “Good Morning Britain”, he has now revealed that Harry and Meghan absolutely want to prevent themselves from appearing in “The Crown”. However, it is doubtful that Netflix will take this into account. Either way, Harry made a “terrible mistake” through his deal with the streaming service.
The royal expert thinks Harry is being unfair
In an interview, Levin recounts a meeting with Harry about three years ago, during which he revealed that the entire royal family is watching “The Crown”. ISr really wants to make sure the series ends before it gets to him. Since it doesn’t shed a good light on some members of the royal family, the production should generally be a thorn in royalty’s side.

After his resignation as a high-ranking member of the royal family, Harry nevertheless signed a contract with – of all things – Netflix through his production company. Angela Levin is very disappointed with this. As he suspects, Harry is a different person now than he was then. At least he’s not the same person he spent a lot of time with.
“He’s actually doing what I think is so unfair and rude now. He takes money from a company like Netflix that knows that if they offer a lot of money, they’ll get a jug of blood from someone.”
Netflix is making fun of Harry’s mother, father and grandmother. According to Levin, Meghan in particular wants to make a lot of money and Netflix just made the couple a tempting offer.
“The Crown”: Is Harry Powerless Against Netflix?
There is already considerable speculation about the upcoming seasons five and six of “The Crown”. Royal’s expert suggests that Harry cannot expect any understanding from Netflix for his concern and may still be shown in the series, even if he doesn’t want it at all. Levin describes him and Meghan as “naive”.

According to them, the streaming service will now dive deeper into the subject and absorb a lot of information about the royal family in order to “denigrate” them. He already sees “The Crown” as a “targeted attack on the monarchy”.
Season 4 is currently causing a stir, as the series deals with Lady Diana and thus touches on an emotional topic. Because creators mix truth and fiction and viewers may mistakenly believe they are watching a documentary, a recent campaign asked Netflix to post a notice before the episodes. The controversy is unlikely to end in the coming seasons.
