The price of Ripple (XRP / USD) saw further losses following a challenging exchange over the weekend.

The second largest digital currency on the market had a lackluster trading session on Sunday, with its price hovering around $ 0.37. Having started the day at $ 0.372, the digital currency rose to an intraday high of $ 0.378 during the early hours of the session. However, the currency saw a significant slowdown in subsequent trading, falling from $ 0.365. Ripple had a difficult start to trading today, as he fell below the $ 0.36 level in the early hours of the session. The currency has had some ups and downs since then, but managed to recover the score of $ 0.36. At the time of writing, the price of Ripple was around $ 0.36.

Meanwhile, Ripple has seen a significant drop in trading volume in the last few sessions. The currency averaged around $ 360 million on the weekends over the week, compared to over $ 500 million in previous week's sessions.

Recent data shows that around $ 329 million of XRP tokens have changed in the last 24 hours, suggesting that trading activity remains subdued on Monday. However, this figure, which was compiled by Coinmarketcap, does not take into account about $ 109.4 million that were generated on the ZBG cryptographic exchange.

In today's trading, Ripple's price was $ 0.361, at 14:35 GMT. The digital currency has lost almost 2% of its value in the last 24 hours, shows Coinmarketcap data. The total market capitalization of the currency is currently $ 14.5 billion.
