Adjei moved from soccer to bobsleigh

Adjei began his sporting career as an American footballer with Düsseldorf Rhein Fire and then played for the Berlin Thunder. Eventually he switched to bobsleigh as a pusher. With success.

Together with driver Thomas Florschütz, he won silver in the duo bobsleigh at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver (Canada). As a pusher for Manuel Machata, he drove for European and world titles in the four-man bobsleigh in the 2010/11 season.
