This Thursday it was known that Massimo Alessandro Ciciliano Herrera was born, son of Ricardo Ciciliano, the remembered former footballer who passed away on 17 September.
Former striker Martín Arzuaga, one of Ciciliano’s best friends, was one of the first personalities to share the news on social media. “May God bless that little creature, that his father from heaven and his mother on earth will guide them to be a good man”, wrote the former striker on his Twitter account.
The image of Massimo’s birth that has been known in the last few hours has moved thousands of people. In it appears his mother looking at him rather excitedly and next to them a photo of his father.
Ciciliano has suffered from pneumonia since the end of August which has worsened with the passing of days, a situation for which he had to be hospitalized in an intensive care unit, in which he was in the last weeks of his life.
The wife of the former Millonarios player was seven months pregnant when the country is rocked by the unexpected news of the death of ’10’. This was the familiar image of Massimo’s birth:
