Resident Evil Village has released a new gameplay

With the launch scheduled for next year, Resident Evil Village is the next big title in one of the most loved and played franchises in Capcom.

And if you were holding back the anxiety of watching more parts of the game, new excerpts have been released.

The game is confirmed for the current console generation, but Capcom has said it is doing its best to launch it on PS4 and Xbox One.

Set a few years after the terrifying events of the award-winning Resident Evil 7 biohazard, the new story begins with Ethan Winters and his wife Mia living peacefully in a new place, free from the nightmares of the past. And just as they were building a new life together, tragedy hits them again. Chris Redfield, the legendary hero of the Resident Evil series who made a brief appearance in Resident Evil 7 biohazard, reunites the couple and radically changes their lives, leaving Ethan baseless and in the midst of a new nightmare.

The first-person action begins when players take on the role of a distressed Ethan in his quest to unravel the new horrors that plague a once peaceful village. During this terrifying journey, players will fight for their lives against fierce enemies that have plagued this snowy place. With the power of next-generation consoles, the detailed realism and relentless sense of fear will increase with each desperate battle for survival, while the moments of calm will leave players wondering what new horrors await them.
