One thing is already clear: Kanye West (43) will not be the president of the United States of America. At least not in 2020. The rapper reported on Twitter Wednesday and admitted his defeat – and at the same time announced he was running again.
“KANYE 2024” wrote West in big letters and made it clear: in four years, the husband of reality star Kim Kardashian (40) wants to compete again.
Kanye had no chance
Only in July of this year West had announced his candidacy for this year. The idea came to him in the shower, he explained. Then he started a chaotic campaign as a member of the so-called birthday party. However, he met the requirements to be eligible in only 12 of the 50 US states. Within the 12 states he was listed in the ballot, West was now able to get around 60,000 votes, as reported by the US media. He got the highest score in Tennessee: Kanye got more than 10,000 votes there.

Kanye West himself went to vote – for the first time ever, he confessed. “Today is the first time in my life that I am voting for a president of the United States and I am electing someone I really trust … me,” he tweeted.
