HP announced launch of the U28 4K HDR monitor, which is partly made up of recycled plastic and this is intended for content creators. It turns out that it will start in Romania in January 2021. The plastic has been recycled near the oceans and is the equivalent of more than 3 bottles of recycled plastic water.
We’re dealing with a 4K monitor here and the first to boast the look of built-in recycled plastic. This is very important for protecting the environment, but also as a movement of awareness. The U28 monitor is designed for creative professionals, beginners or enthusiasts who are involved in streaming, gaming, maybe even photo / video editing. Its panel is an IPS with HDR support and wide viewing angles. The colors are well calibrated and the device offers options like Design for Web and Design for Photography.
HP Eye Ease has a blue light filter that does not affect color accuracy and protects the eyes after dark. This monitor has a single USB-C cable for connecting and charging multiple devices. It allows color calibration according to user needs and has rather narrow edges. Speaking of eco-friendliness, 100% of its packaging is made from sustainable recycled material.
The HP UP28 4K 28-inch monitor will arrive on the Romanian market in January 2021. We don’t have a price for the local market, but on Amazon we saw that this model is $ 499.
