The Realme 7 5G was launched on Thursday (19) by the Chinese mobile phone manufacturer in Europe and India. The device is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor and comes with the slogan “5G for all” (5G for all, in direct translation), as well as a screen with a high refresh rate.
Following the brand’s budget recipe, the Realme 7 5G brings a good balance of specs, with a spec sheet that stands out for compatibility with 5G. The use of high-speed networks is made available by the Dimensity 800U processor – a line that has lowered the values of new generation devices -, which is still not very widespread outside China.
The phone supports two SIM chips, both including 5G, without sacrificing the microSD memory card slot. The processing is accompanied by 6GB of LPDDR4x memory and 128GB of storage space in the UFS 2.1 standard, both of which offer enough capacity for everyday use, as well as using technologies with good performance.
Fast screen and quad camera
Aside from the 5G modem, the other strong point of the Realme 7 5G is the 6.5-inch LCD screen. FullHD + resolution – 1,080 by 2,400 pixels – may also be common in the segment, but the device differs due to the component’s high refresh rate. The panel used in the mobile phone is capable of reaching up to 120 frames per second, promising greater fluidity in system animations.
The front of the device also has a discreet circular cutout in the upper left corner, which houses the 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The Realme 7 5G photo set follows the segment pattern, with four cameras on the rear module and an LED flash. The main sensor has 48 megapixels and is accompanied by an 8MP wide-angle camera and two 2MP sensors: one macro and one monochrome.
Realme also unveils features provided for photos, such as night and portrait modes, tools to improve quality with the use of artificial intelligence and an intelligent image stabilization system, to reduce shaking in videos recorded on the go.

The battery has a capacity of 5,000mAh and the device comes with a quick charger with a 30W cable. Connected to the USB-C input, the accessory is able to complete the charge in 65 minutes, according to the manufacturer.
Next to the USB-C port for charging and data transfer is the good old headphone jack. The Realme 7 5G also has a fingerprint sensor located on the on / off button on the side.
Availability and price
Realme 7 5G is already on pre-order in India and some European countries, with availability scheduled for November 27th. In the old continent, the phone has a suggested price of 279 Euros (around R $ 1,770), making it one of the most affordable 5G models in the region.
