Razer Book 13: The manufacturer takes a break from gaming and launches an ultraportable laptop for productivity

Razer has introduced the new Razer Book 13, a high-performance laptop created for those with a focus on productivity, such as online entrepreneurs.

With an ultraportable design, with a 13.4 “screen that benefits from thin bezels, an 11th Generation Intel® Core ™ processor and Intel® Iris® Xe graphics solution, along with multiple connectivity options, the new 13th ultraportable “allows their users to do more things.

Thin, portable

The new Razer Book 13 is made from a single block of aluminum, which makes it light and durable, and is anodized with a Mercury White shade to provide a scratch-resistant surface. The Razer Book 13 is quite compact, weighs less than 1.36kg and is 1.5cm thick, making it easy to carry around. The keys are individually illuminated with Razer Chroma RGB technology, which allows for good customization, including exclusive illumination of the essential keys.

On either side of the keyboard are two speakers that benefit from intelligent amplification and THX® Spatial Audio technology for quality surround sound. THX Spatial Audio technology is also active when using headphones connected via a 3.5mm jack.

Productivity

Inside the 13-inch ultraportable notebook are the latest generation 11th generation Intel Core processors. Some models are equipped with the Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor, which can reach speeds of 4.7 GHz via Intel Turbo Boost technology. The new processors are faster and more efficient than previous generations, giving users the ability to complete more tasks, faster, the battery that lasts longer.

The new Intel Core processors feature integrated Iris Xe graphics solutions. To ensure quiet operation at low temperatures, the processor is cooled by the Razer solution based on a single vapor chamber, thereby reducing heat and ambient noise.

The Razer Book 13 comes with up to 16GB of RAM – an ideal amount for multitasking, but also for memory-dependent office tasks such as creative applications. The 13-inch ultraportable also features an ultra-fast SSD storage solution with a capacity of 512GB, which allows users to quickly access their applications and files.

Each Razer Book 13 model has an added advantage in the form of Intel Evo, one of the best solutions for users for whom mobility is very important. Intel Evo certified laptops are a superior class of mobile devices, incorporating “instant wake” technology that allows you to resume activity in less than a second, with a high degree of battery reliability, one nine hours in the variants with displays FHD and at least four hours of operation on a charge of only 30 minutes.

The Razer Book 13 incorporates a factory calibrated 13.4-inch screen and features some of the thinnest bezels mounted on a 13.4-inch panel. The 16:10 aspect ratio is supported by the Intel Iris Xe graphics solution, and the very thin bezel screen is available in configurations starting from Full HD + resolutions without touch support and up to UHD + resolutions with touch support, each display is factory calibrated to cover 100% of the sRGB color spectrum.

Razer Book 13 touchscreen configurations include Gorilla Glass 6 with anti-reflective coating for improved reliability and visibility. At the top of the screen there is an HD webcam and four microphones which offer great quality for online conferences or training. The notebook is also compatible with Windows Hello, for fast and secure access.

Connectivity without dongle solutions

Owners of Razer Book 13 don’t need additional adapters, the new ultraportable comes with two Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port, one 3.5mm combo port and one HDMI port 2.0. In addition, the notebook also features a microSD card slot, to quickly expand the storage capacity or to be able to quickly transfer files from your phone or photos from your digital camera.

The list of features of the Razer Book 13 is completed by an Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX 201 wireless card, compatible with the latest protocols, including Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1, thus ensuring a fast, reliable and comfortable wireless connection.
