When using the Raspberry Pi 400 in practice, there is no significant performance increase over the Raspi 4 due to the 20% higher clock rate; However, the BCM2711 of the Raspi 400 does not slow down thanks to the good passive cooling, as already mentioned in the introduction phase.

In mid-October, the Raspberry Pi Foundation published a datasheet for software control of the peripheral connections of the Broadcom BCM2711: BCM2711 ARM Peripherals. WiFi transmission speed
During the measurements in the c’t laboratory, the integrated SDIO WLAN adapter (RPi-RM0 with Cypress CYW43455, FCC ID 2ABCB-RPIRM0) transmitted an average between 30 and 90 Mbit / s: the latter near the router, the first at a distance of 20 meters from that.
