Amsterdam documentary festival IDFA crowned Firouzeh Khosrovani X-ray Of A Family as best feature film documentary at its 2020 awards ceremony.
The ceremony, which took place both at the city’s Vlaams Cultuurhuis De Brakke Grond and online, also saw prizes awarded Gorbachev. Paradise, which got the best director for Vitaly Mansky, Inside the red brick wall, which won the award for best editing and Nemesis, which got the best photograph.
The winner of the best feature film documentary receives € 20,000, while other prizes range from € 10,000 to € 2,500.
Jury members for the IDFA Feature Documentary Competition were Marie-Pierre Macia, Ed Lachman, Alice Diop, Abdelkader Benali and Finn Halligan.
