Today, Thursday 19 November 2020, the Union of General Practitioners of Public Health announced a four-day national general strike from 1 to 4 December.
The national strike includes all the clinics and all internal departments with the exception of the hemodialysis and resuscitation wards, and all the activities of the Covid-19 route from sampling to moving to the aforementioned section, according to the text of the communication.
This strike comes as a condemnation of what the Union of Public Health General Practitioners regarded as “denial and denial of the efforts of public doctors”, a refusal to activate Order 341, and a protest against the refusal of general practitioners to automatically switch to doctors specializing in family medicine, according to the text of the communication.
