Sony has published an extensive FAQ for PlayStation 5, listing known details again, but new details appear as well.

PS5: Numerous frequently asked questions answer questions

Sony has posted a ton of information about the PS5 on the official PlayStation Blog. Not all of the details mentioned are truly new. For example, the company re-enters the console release dates, states the differences between the standard model and the digital edition, and points out that the new console is initially only offered in the familiar color version.

Also known are the scope of supply, the speed advantage of the SSD and the special features when installing the games. You can use a feature called “Favorite Installation” to prioritize certain parts of a game, such as the multiplayer part or the campaign.

The PS5 FAQ once again mentions that the PS5 will not offer the option to transfer PS5 games to an external USB drive for now. “We are currently exploring ways to allow players to save (but not play) PS5 games to a USB drive. These may be made available in a future update,” Sony said.
