In this new installment of Medicines Music X Caracas KooLand band will participate (OoKoolandmusic) and songwriter Howard Coriano (@HowardCoriano) of Puerto La Cruz. For which it will be a Caribbean indie-rock concert dedicated to the famous doctor Maruja Clavier.
The concert will be broadcast free of charge through the Provide a YouTube channel and aims to Venezuelans add their voice for Luis Razetti hospital and for the patients with haemophilia using the hashtag # AnzoáteguiExigeSalud.
The Luis Razetti Hospital It is one of the most important health centers in the eastern part of the country. According to information provided by the College of Physicians of the Anzoátegui y Vida State, provided by the Human Rights Network (Redhanz), 470 doctors migrated from that state in 2019 alone, which means that 50% of nursing positions remained vacant. In addition, 70% of Health Centers have their essential services closed, 98% of their laboratories not operational, with a shortage of medicines and supplies that is close to 90% and that they do not have power plants to carry out their work. Due to the lack of medicines, Venezuelans with bleeding are developing hematosis, which is the bleeding of the joints.
In relation to the artistic initiatives that will participate in this new edition of Music X Medicines in Curantena we’ll have KooLand, a fusion rock band with Caribbean sounds, founded in October 2018 in Caracas, composed by Franco Delgado on guitar, Eduardo Salazar on drums, José García on bass and Santiago Hernández on guitar-vocals.
KooLand doesn’t try to get stuck in a single genre and its members always try to explore new sounds in their songs, as each musician in the group has different influences in their lineup that converge harmoniously when composing the songs.
Howard Coriano will also participate, singer-songwriter and producer from Portocruz, who became passionate about the world of music from a young age, when he joined the school choir playing drums at the institute’s celebrations. He began his formal career as a composer playing with various bands in the city, such as La Fiesta Animal and Los Polyman, with whom he won the New Bands Festival in 2017 and toured various cities across the country.

After his experience with musical groups, he began his solo career in 2018 with the premiere of the album Minimalismo, a domestic production of post punk, indie rock and goth with which he presented himself in various venues in Anzoátegui.
