Apple yesterday presented several news at the One More Thing event. At the heart of almost everything is a very powerful processor, the Apple M1, which focuses on ARM technology. In fact, it was the big center of attention. Now, here are the prices in Portugal for all the Apple news.
Prices of all Apple news in Portugal revealed!
MacBook Air M1 chip
The new MacBook Air reuses the same chassis as the previous model. However, inside, everything is different. From the start, this equipment is 3.5 times faster than the previous generation. The price remains the same as last year.
The new MacBook Air has an eight-core processor and graphics inside. This guarantees 5 times more graphics power than the previous model. Not to mention machine learning.
As I said earlier, the new MacBook Air has no fans. This means that it is completely silent. Another interesting detail is autonomy. Apple has in fact talked about 15 hours of autonomy. This is done while browsing and with Wi-Fi enabled. Video playback is 18 hours.
Meanwhile, the screen has the same resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels. Just like the previous MacBook air. The webcam also has 720p. However, in the field of connectivity, we have an update to Wi-Fi 6. Bluetooth, however, remains in version 5.
The MacBook Air is available starting at 1159 euros. This is for the model that has a graphics card with seven cores and 256 GB of memory. However, the model that has eight-core graphics and as such is a bit faster costs 1429 euros.
MacBook Pro M1 chip
Apple claims the 13-inch MacBook Pro delivers three times the performance of Windows notebooks in its class.
However, before going into other technical details, I just want to highlight one detail that is very important in the case of a notebook. The new MacBook Pro offers 17 hours of battery life for surfing the Internet and 20 hours of video playback. It really is a milestone!
That said, the new MacBook Pro has eight-core graphics and uses a fan for active cooling. This is in contrast to the MacBook Air which has no fan. This fact suggests that there will be better performance on the MacBook Pro than the MacBook Air under heavy loads.
However, the new 13-inch MacBook Pro also has two Thunderbolt 4 ports with support for USB 4, versus the Intel 13-inch MacBook Pro’s four Thunderbolt 3 ports. Wi-Fi has been upgraded to Wi-Fi 6 and we also have Bluetooth 5.0 technology.
The price starts from 1479 euros. This is for the model with 256GB of storage. On the other hand, the 512 GB model costs 1709 euros.
Mac Mini with M1 chip: look at the prices of this new Apple in Portugal!
Compared to the best-selling PCs in the same range, the M1 chip-based Mac Mini is a third the size but five times faster. More specifically if we compare it to a Core i5 PC with an Intel UHD 630 graphics card.
The new Mac Mini features two Thunderbolt ports with support for USB 4, allowing users to connect up to two Pro Display XDR monitors with a total resolution of 6K. The device also supports Wi-Fi 6 and features a new thermal design with a fan that allows you to maintain performance while staying cool and quiet.
There is a big difference to the Intel-based Mac mini. We now only have two Thunderbolt ports. In the previous model, there were four Thunderbolt 3 ports.
The great advantage of the new equipment is undoubtedly the octa-core processor that is combined with graphics with the same cores. In practice, this guarantees six times higher performance than the previous model.
However, Apple claims the new Mac Mini can compile Xcode code up to three times faster. In the case of editing with Final Cut Pro you can do it up to six times faster. The same with games that require a lot of equipment. For example, the title “Shadow of the Tomb Raider” can be played four times the frame rate.
The price of the Mac Mini with the M1 chip starts at 819 euros. This is for the model with 256GB of storage. The 512GB option costs 1049 euros.
These are therefore the prices of the new Apple bets in Portugal. All the news are already available in the GMS Store. Do you like Leak? We count on you! Follow us on Google News. Click here and then click Follow.
